Happy Monday, friends!
Grab your coffee (or your wine, I won’t tell) and settle in for this week’s 3 Bites from Cathy’s Kitchen. ๐ง๐
Let’s get cozy!
๐ง Pantry Pick of the Week: Garlic Pepper Seasoning
If I could only keep a few seasonings in my kitchen, Garlic Pepper would make the list.
It’s bold, it’s simple, and it goes on just about everything:
๐ง Steaks and burgers
๐ง Roasted veggies and potatoes
๐ง Scrambled eggs
๐ง Chicken, shrimp, and pork chops
๐ง Popcorn and fries (yes, really!)
AND -> I made the BEST bread dipping oil simply by mixing Garlic Pepper Seasoning, Parmesan Cheese and Olive Oil ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ณ๐
This week it’s $8, and no code is needed!

Want to add Garlic Pepper to your pantry?
Message me GARLIC and I’ll get you the details!
๐ก Kitchen Hack of the Week: Let the Sale Do the Holiday Shopping
Here’s a little money-saving PSA: the holidays are coming, and your pantry can get a head start now.

Today through Friday, 10/9, every Tastefully Simple garlic product is $2.99 off. No code needed. Here’s what that looks like:
๐ง Garlic Pepper, Garlic Garlic, and Italian Garlic Seasonings: $8
๐ง Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto Mix: $8
๐ง Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce: $7
๐ง Roasted Garlic Avocado Oil: $13
And the pumpkin deals are good too:
๐ Pumpkin Bread & Maple Glaze Mix Value Pack: BOGO 50% off, just $15 for two (a $19.98 value)
๐ NEW Pumpkin Bread Bundle: $29.99 (a $34.97 value) with two mixes and a serving tray, perfect for holiday potlucks. Quantities are limited!
Here’s how to use the sale to get ahead:
- Think about your holiday go-tos. Appetizers, sides, potluck dishes, hostess gifts. What will you actually be making?
- Stock up on the shelf-stable stuff. These seasonings have enjoy-by dates well into 2028, so there’s no rush to use them.
- Grab a few extras for gifting. Three garlic products adds up to almost $9 in savings, and a pumpkin bread bundle is a ready-made “thank you for hosting” gift.
Sounds like a plan, right? Future-you will thank you in November. โค๏ธ
โค๏ธ What’s Happening in Cathy’s Kitchen
Let’s talk about September.
If you’re a teacher, or you love one, you know that September is hard. New routines, new schedules, new faces, and a to-do list that never seems to end.
For years, I’ve had a soft spot for the Green Day song Wake Me Up When September Ends. And this year, I REALLY felt it. ๐

But September also taught me a few things:
๐ How to build new routines
๐ How to be flexible when the plan changes
๐ How to give myself (and everyone around me) a little grace
It’s been a month of learning, and it is what it is.
And now? We made it to October! ๐
I’m looking forward to all the FALL-iDAYS, and I fully plan to take advantage of every single one. Pumpkin bread, cozy dinners, and time around the table with people I love.
So here’s your little Cathy’s Kitchen reminder this week:
Give yourself grace. You’re learning, too.
And if you need a little help getting dinner on the table this fall, you know where to find me. ๐
